Day 308

Monday.  Only 24 posts today.  I guess September is a busy month.

Clustering, bias and the accretion mode of X-ray selected AGN
Koutoulidis et al

Spatial clustering properties of 1466 AGN from Chandra CDF, COSMOS and AEGIS in 0.5-8 keV, 0<z<3 with z_med=0.98.  Projected 2pt correlation function, infer spatial clustering, find r0=7.2 Mpc/h and gamma=1.5, which corresponds to a bias of b=2.26.  Average DM host halo mass of M~1.3e13 Msun/h.  Bias and halo mass significantly higher than the corresponding values of optically selected AGN at same z.  X-ray selected AGN bias indicates that a unique DM halo mass does not fit will the bias at all the different z probed.  Find indications for a positive dependence of the clustering length on X-ray luminosity (more luminous sources have larger clustering length and higher DM halo mass).
